Dating Violence Prevention

A recent study by the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre for Family Violence Research reported that 38% of New Brunswick teens have experienced one or more types of dating violence.

By providing prevention workshops to Grade's 8 through 12, our hope is that students will learn the tools they need to navigate those difficult first relationships and be able to recognize the signs of an unhealthy relationship.

We also offer workshops in the community regarding early warning signs of dating violence, and the needs and concerns of victims and perpetrators.
